Lesson Terms & Conditions
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
- POLE TWISTERS LTD - Without prior notice, reserves the right to amend, change, delete or add to these terms & conditions.
- AGE LIMIT - Participants must be 16 yrs & over for any lessons, courses or parties. Participants must be 18 yrs & over for any male stripper bookings or alcohol related lessons/parties
- PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS OR REGISTER ENTRIES – This is not a definite space on a class, please secure deposits ASAP to avoid disappointment
- BOOKINGS – All bookings are to be made no later than 48 hours before the class date, if payment is not received on time, your name will automatically be carried over to a future class
- PAYMENTS - You are not obliged to make an immediate payment to attend any of our classes, especially if some classes get postponed through lack of bookings. We do offer the chance to place your name on any of our registers prior to making payment
- PAYMENT REPLIES - All payments made online will receive a manual email reply ASAP with full details and information on what to bring/wear, etc
- DISCLAIMERS - All participants are required to fill out a risk disclaimer. Pole dancing may not be suitable for people with heart related and skeletal (neck, back and joint) problems, If you are unsure if you are fit and able to do a session please consult your GP first.
- LATENESS - Any time lost can not be replaced
- BEHAVIOUR - Please listen to your instructor, pole dancing can be dangerous. Pole Twisters Ltd is not responsible for any injury caused through not listening to your instructor. Please behave in a friendly & sociable manner at our classes, failure to do so will result in termination of your booking with no refund given
- HEALTH & SAFETY – Teachers are qualified 1st Aiders with the British Red Cross and have a 1st aid kit on hand
- LOTION OR JEWELLERY - No lotions or jewellery to be worn. Pole Twisters ltd can not be held accountable for the loss of any jewellery or personal belongings
- TRAINEE TEACHERS - May be present, please specify if you do not wish for any to be present
- SPECTATORS - May be present at some classes
- MAILING LIST – Upon receipt of an email, your details will be automatically added to our mailing list, please contact us if you wish to be removed from this
- MASTERCLASSES - Refunds are unavailable for masterclasses so please make sure you are able to make the date & time specified before making payment on our events page. We can offer a credit note to be used against any other classes at Cardiff Dance Studios.
LESSON TERMS & CONDITIONS
- CLASS TRANSFERS – We can offer a taster lesson transfer if you are unable to attend a specific date but must be notified no later than 48 hours prior to the lesson otherwise your lesson will be forfeited
- 2 OR LESS STUDENTS BOOKED ON A CLASS - If there are 2 or less students booked on a class, the lesson will only run for 1/2 hour as it will be classed as a private. This applies to Cardiff Dance Studios only.
- LACK OF BOOKINGS IN AREAS OTHER THAN CARDIFF – Lessons may be postponed for 1 or 2 weeks at a time (depending on area) until sufficient bookings/payments have been achieved. The class date & venue supplied by email is not a definite. You will be notified via email &/or text (if supplied) 48 hours prior if this has been postponed or changed. If classes keep getting postponed through lack of bookings and you are unhappy with this, please contact us as we are more than willing to offer an alternative arrangement or credit note for another type of class.
- PREGNANT OR INJURED PERSONS - Will not be able to participate, but can be a spectator at a separate cost
- NUS/STUDENTS - proof must be supplied at the lesson, otherwise the remaining payment will be incurred on arrival
- SICKNESS – Pole Twisters ltd must be informed 48 hours prior to your lesson otherwise payment will be forfeited unless a suitable doctors note is provided
- REFUNDS - Only given in the event of extreme unfortunate unforeseen circumstances with a doctor’s note. The doctors note date must coincide with the date of your class.
COURSE TERMS & CONDITIONS
- REMAINDER PAYMENT – You will receive an email and/or text message approximately 7 days prior to your course date to make the remaining payment. If remainder payment has not been received by 48 hours before the course start date your deposit will be forfeited, unless you have contacted the offices regarding your non-payment
- INSTALMENTS - Extra £5 charge applies. Standing order forms must be returned to our offices 7 days prior to your 1st lesson. If the form has not been received by 48 hours before the course start date your deposit will be forfeited, unless you have contacted the offices regarding this. Please note: once your course has started, standing orders can not be cancelled whether you chose to complete your course or not.
- REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS - If you wish to cancel the full course, we require 7 days notice via email or in writing, prior to the start of your course to receive your deposit refund, this will be subject to a £10 administration fee. For cancellations within 7 days or if we have received no reply further to your course remainder payment reminder, your deposit will be forfeited. If your course has started and you choose to cancel, full payment is still required; you can receive a full refund subject to a £20 administration fee - pole dancing (or £10 administration fee for other forms of dance) only in extreme unforeseen circumstances with a supplied valid doctor’s note.
- CLASS TRANSFERS - If you find you are unable to make a class throughout the running of a course, we can offer a class transfer to attend another class on any future course, subject to a £5 administration charge, however you must notify us by email 48 hours prior to any lesson otherwise changes can not be made.
- TRANSFER WHOLE COURSE – Subject to a £10 administration fee. Ideal for customers who commit to a course and find they are unable to make the remainder weeks. If the new course price differs in amount, alternative payment is required or any credits owed will be credited to the customers account towards a future lesson/course. Transfers can be made at any time within the running of the course, however you must notify us by email 48 hours prior to any lesson otherwise changes can not be made.
- LACK OF BOOKINGS – Courses may be postponed for 2 weeks at a time until sufficient bookings have been achieved. The date & venue supplied by email is an approximate but you will be notified via email &/or text (if supplied) 7 days prior if this has been postponed or changed. If classes or courses keep getting postponed through lack of bookings and you are unhappy with this, please contact us as we are more than willing to offer an alternative arrangement or credit note. We may, on occasions need to have two different courses running in the same room at the same time to avoid constant postponements
- SICKNESS - Pole Twisters ltd must be informed 48 hours prior to your lesson otherwise payment will be forfeited unless a suitable doctors note is provided
- BANK HOLIDAYS - Some courses may coincide with a bank holiday. If this occurs, no class will run on the bank holiday and classes will continue the following week
- LATE REMAINDER PAYMENTS - Any late course remainder payments that are received after the 48 hours notification will be subject to a £10 administration fee
HOME VISITS
- HOME VISITS - in the unfortunate case that the ceiling type & height is unsuitable or unsafe Pole Twisters will be unable to proceed with pole assembly and class. You will be issued with a full refund via Paypal subject to a £20 administration fee and fuel charges if outside the local Cardiff area.
