Pole Course Terms and Conditions

1. ENROLLMENT & REGISTRATION

  • Participants must be 18+ to enroll.
  • Enrollment is confirmed only after full payment and completion of registration forms.
  • Studio is located inside a gym—participants must check in at reception and comply with gym rules.
  • Participants must be medically fit for physical activity and notify us of any health concerns before starting.



2. COURSE FEES & CANCELLATIONS

  • Course fees are non-refundable once the course has commenced.
  • Cancel at least 48 hours before the course starts for a refund or full credit added to your account.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours are refundable only in exceptional circumstances (with proof of doctors note)
  • If Pole Twisters cancels a course, a transfer, credit, or full refund will be offered.


3. PAYMENT DETAILS

  • Payment must be made online in full at the time of booking through our website.
  • We accept most major debit and credit cards. No cash or in-person payments are accepted.


4. ATTENDANCE & MISSED CLASSES

  • Regular attendance is encouraged for best progress.
  • Missed classes are forfeited—no credits, refunds, or reschedules.
  • Participants can make up missed content by booking a discounted lessons (codes provided in WhatsApp group, see below for info) or joining live via Zoom if they have a home pole (request in advance).
  • Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be allowed to join for safety reasons.


5. COURSE TRANSFERS & NAME CHANGES

  • Transfers allowed up to 48 hours before a scheduled lesson, subject to a £25 administration fee.
  • If the new course has a different price, the balance will be charged or refunded accordingly.
  • Substituting another participant is allowed with a £10 administration fee and completion of registration forms.


6. COURSE POSTPONEMENTS

  • Courses require a minimum of 3 participants to run.
  • Maximum course capacity: 12 participants (2 per pole) but our courses are usually small groups
  • Participants will be notified by 2:30pm on the course start day if postponement occurs.
  • Postponed courses will be delayed weekly until minimum numbers are met.
  • Transfers to other earlier-starting courses with availability are allowed without an extra fee.


7. INSTRUCTOR & STUDIO DISCRETION

  • Instructors/staff reserve the right to remove participants for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.
  • All safety instructions must be followed.


8. COURSE STRUCTURE & MATERIALS

  • Upon registration, participants receive a Google Drive link with the course content.
  • Course materials, including move names, are copyrighted and must not be copied, shared, or used for business.
  • Personal filming during class is allowed if it does not disrupt the session or breach another participant's consent.


9. HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Participants should not attend if they are unwell with a contagious illness.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and respect the shared studio environment.
  • Participants may request to join via Zoom if unable to attend in person due to illness (with a home pole).


10. COMMUNICATION & WHATSAPP GROUP

  • By enrolling, you agree to receive course communications from Pole Twisters.
  • Students will be added to a WhatsApp group with instructors and admins for updates and community interaction.
  • Participation in the group is optional—you may leave at any time.


11. LATE ENROLLMENT

  • Participants enrolling after the course has started may book a discounted lessons to catch up, promo codes are provided in the WhatsApp group.


12. STUDIO LOCATION & GYM POLICIES

  • Participants must follow all gym and studio policies and safety regulations.
  • Allow time for check-in procedures when attending classes.
  • Participants are responsible for their belongings—lockers are available in the changing room and you will require your own padlock.
  • Fitness-appropriate attire must be worn.


13. LIABILITY & RISK ACKNOWLEDGMENT

  • Pole dancing carries risks; participants engage at their own discretion.
  • Pole Twisters and instructors are not liable for injuries unless due to negligence.
  • Participants must inform the instructor of any injuries or health issues and avoid performing moves beyond their ability without instruction.


14. GOVERNING LAW

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Wales, United Kingdom.


15. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

  • By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
