Fantastic Turnout

An insight into whats been happening at Pole Twisters recently

This last two weeks at Pole Twisters have been jam packed with plenty of pole jams and mixed ability sessions running throughout the week from Monday to Thursdays. It's been absolutely fab to see so such a fantastic turnout over this month, despite the winter cold setting in making us all want nothing more than to stay in bed and keep cosy (thankfully our studios are nice and warm, and exercise is a perfect way to get endorphin's going to keep the winter blues away – just saying!)

Some new developments this week - we're now offering pole jams on Saturday mornings! We know that not everyone is able to fit evening classes around work and family life and it can be hard to find the time to squeeze in that extra training, so you can now book onto a Saturday morning session through the Pole Twisters website! How exciting! They won't run every week but keep an eye out for dates on the drop-down menu on our website.

We had a new beginner's course start on Tuesdays and a few private lesson bookings last Saturday. There is still availability for some more 1-2-1 slots should anyone like to book on for some individual tutoring to help work on whatever you feel you need to improve in your pole practice. We have spaces lots of time slots available, just visit our private lessons page on our website and use the drop-down to select your day and time.

This Thursday at 7:45pm we have a beginners pole fitness taster session for those who are interested in taking up pole fitness priced at £10, which will act as an introduction to pole with some simple beginner moves. Spaces available, book online.

For those who may be interested, Upside Down Circus in Cardiff are running a 3 week introduction course in Chinese Pole at their new training space at the Tremorfa Industrial Estate. We wrote a blog post dedicated to the art of Chinese Pole a few months ago, and a lot of modern pole moves are borrowed or adapted from this discipline. It's also quite rare to find classes in this particular circus skill and so it may definitely be worth checking out to experience the differences between the two similar but very different styles of pole.

It's looking like it's going to be another busy week for us! Don't forget that all sessions are subject to the amount of pre-bookings we get so in order for your favourite classes to run on the days and times you want be sure to make you booking asap through the Pole Twisters website!

See you all in the studio!

We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for each and every one of you who brings your passion and energy to our dance studio. Your dedication and enthusiasm make our community vibrant and thriving! We believe that having a variety of experiences and perspectives is essential for growth, both as dancers and as individuals. That's why we want to encourage you to explore and expand your dance journey beyond the comfort of the teacher and class that you love. We recognize the value of seeking out different teachers and classes to broaden your horizons. Trying new teachers, styles, techniques and approaches can enrich your dance experience and help you discover new talents and interests. Remember, other teachers might show you something in a different way than your regular teacher, offering fresh insights and perspectives that can deepen your understanding and appreciation of pole dance. So, to all our wonderful students, we want you to know that it's absolutely okay to explore other teachers and classes. In fact, we encourage it! We want you to feel empowered to seek out opportunities that inspire and challenge you. And to our dedicated instructors, thank you for creating a supportive and nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to grow and explore. Your passion and dedication are what make our dance studio truly special. Let's continue to support each other on our dance journeys and celebrate the diversity and richness of our dance community! #DanceFamily #ExploreAndGrow #DanceJourney

Anyone who knows me , I love my fitness , June this year I decided to take the plunge and try something new and challenging. I decided to try Pole Fitness, I did have reservations thinking I'm a 44 year old woman should I be doing this, but I convinced myself to give it a go...so i booked a taster lesson at https://www.poletwisters.co.uk/ and I loved it !! The confidence it has given me is tremendous, its massively helped with my anxiety, the benefits it has for your mental health and well being is fantastic, and body wise it's a great workout for your whole body . I was asked if I wanted to become a teacher, so October I took my very 1st class..who would of thought it ...not me ,never in a million years ,that in June I walked through those doors a anxious mess and now i'm a pole teacher ! I have met some lovely ladies and made some new friends along the way . So come along and see what pole can do for you,the confidence and passion its given me ... book your taster class and see where it leads https://www.poletwisters.co.uk/ #polefitness #polefit #bodyandmind #polesport #polelife
